Despite turning in the first perfect 10 performance of the season, singer Christina Milian was eliminated on "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night after failing to garner enough viewer votes.
The judges applauded Milian's sizzling cha-cha with pro partner Mark Ballas, awarding them a score of 28 (head judge Len Goodman scored the dance a perfect 10).
But despite a great performance, Milian was named to the bottom two along with actress Leah Remini. Elimination is decided upon based off the
previous week's scores, viewer votes, and scores from that week's performance, according to ABC News.

At the end of the night, it was Milian who got the boot.
"I wasn't expecting that, but you know what, I think that we had the best performance tonight that we’ve had thus far," she told host Tom Bergeron.
Highlights from Monday night's episode, in which the celebs were tasked with performing a dance dedicated to the most memorable year of their lives, included actor Corbin Bleu's fox-trot, "Glee" star Amber Riley's fox-trot, and TV actor Brant Daugherty's contemporary tribute to his father.
The bottom score of the night went to Remini, whose contemporary routine meant to celebrate her departure from Scientology fell flat with a score of 22.
